Information provided by the Artist: Shea Wilkinson, a Nebraska native, has been sewing since childhood. She earned a degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in International Studies and German Language. Afterward, she became passionate about creating art and pursued a career as an artist. Wilkinson worked for several years in the medium of art quilts, but after moving abroad, she pivoted to working with felted textiles. She is currently living abroad and earning a degree in fashion and textile design. Wilkinson has exhibited widely in national juried exhibitions, such as Craft Forms, Materials: Hard & Soft, Quilt Visions, and Fantastic Fibers. Wilkinson has received numerous awards, including the James Renwick Alliance's Chrysalis Award for a distinguished emerging artist and an Award of Excellence at The Artist As Quiltmaker in 2016. Her work is held in the collection of Tenaska and the city of Chandler, Arizona's quilt collection.

To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Sunday, June 9 and Monday, June 10. A weblink to reserve your pick-up time will be sent to you upon payment of your invoice. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Email artauction@crockerart.org for more information.
