Information provided by the Artist: M. Mark Bauer graduated from University of California, Davis, with a MFA in 1972. His art career was sidetracked when he was drafted during the Vietnam War later had to work to provide for himself and his family. Nevertheless, Bauer never lost the desire to practice art and has resumed his practice full-time since 2008.
