Information provided by the Artist: Keith Schneider is a ceramic and mixed-media artist and Emeritus Art Professor who lives and works in Arcata, on the northern California coast. He received his MFA degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1985, and taught ceramics and drawing at Humboldt State University since 1987. Keith’s ceramic and mixed-media figures are exhibited throughout the United States, and he has won numerous awards and acknowledgements for his work. He has been featured in a variety of publications, including Ceramics Monthly Magazine, Ceramics Now and Ceramics Art Daily, and his work is in a variety of notable collections. Since retiring from teaching in 2022, Schneider has divided his time between studio work and travel, most recently finding inspiration from trips to Spain, Portugal and Mexico.

To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Sunday, June 9 and Monday, June 10. A weblink to reserve your pick-up time will be sent to you upon payment of your invoice. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Email artauction@crockerart.org for more information.
