Information provided by the Artist: Jamie Vasta is an Oakland-based artist whose figurative works in glitter and glue explore beauty, power, and queer identity. Represented by the Patricia Sweetow Gallery in Los Angeles, Jamie Vasta's artwork is in public and private collections throughout the United States, including the collections of the Crocker Art Museum, the Berkeley Art Museum, and the University of Texas, San Antonio. Born in Rochester, NY, she received her BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and her MFA from the California College of the Arts.

To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Upon payment of the invoice, winning bidders will receive more information about artwork pick up and shipping.
