Information provided by the Artist: Brenda Louie earned her MFA degree in Painting and Drawing from Stanford University in 1993. Her work has been exhibited regionally, nationally and internationally, including ad University of California, Davis; California State University, Sacramento; University of California, Berkeley; Ningbo University, Ningbo, China; and the like. Her works have been housed in private and public collections such as Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento; Zhejiang Art Museum; Opera House of City of Hangzhou, China; Farhat Art Museum, Beirut, Lebanon; Wickland Oil Company of California; etc. Louie has taught studio art at Stanford University, UC Davis, San Francisco Art Institute and California State University in Sacramento. Louie is faculty emeritus.
