William Ishmael has been an artist for the last 30 years, beginning with watercolor landscapes and progressing to large abstract works and art installations utilizing latex paint, sand, organic materials, and the natural elements of the weather to achieve the weathered, multilayered effects on many of his works. His most recent works are in metals and ceramics. Most of his work is for private commissions or are held in private collections. Notable achievements include being named Artist of the Year by the Arts and Business Council and having a work in the permanent collection of the City of Sacramento Public Art program.

To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Sunday, June 11 and Monday, June 12.  A weblink to reserve your pick-up time will be sent to you upcoming payment of your invoice. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Email artauction@crockerart.org for more information.
