Information provided by the Artist: Tom Sorensen is a retired respiratory therapist who has been painting landscapes and seascapes for 16 years. He learned under the teachings of the renowned Bill Parsons at the Parsons Gallery in Benicia. Sorensen’s passion for painting has come from his love of nature, and he strives for realism in his works. He likes to paint places he has hiked to, seen, or photographed in person. He has won several awards for his paintings including an award of merit at the California State Fair fine art competition, a Bold Award at the Northern California Arts “Bold Expressions” international exhibit, and 2nd place at the American Canyon Arts Foundation art show.

To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Sunday, June 9 and Monday, June 10. A weblink to reserve your pick-up time will be sent to you upon payment of your invoice. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Email artauction@crockerart.org for more information.
