Information provided by the Artist: Ruth Rippon was an acclaimed ceramists who grew up in Sacramento and taught in the art department at Sac State for 31 years, from 1957 to 1987. Rippon's artistic production was extensive and transformative, and she helped shaped West Coast American ceramics into a contemporary art form. Her work is represented in the Crocker's permanent collection.

To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Upon payment of the invoice, winning bidders will receive more information about artwork pick up and shipping.
