Information provided by the Artist: Mari Emori is a Bay Area ceramic sculptor whose award-winning artwork was recently exhibited in the Selections from the Crocker-Kingsley exhibition at the Crocker Art Museum from March 9 to May 4, 2025. A member of the Berkeley Potters Guild, her sculptural work explores the beauty and power of nature. Originally from Japan, Mari began her artistic journey in kimono design in Kyoto before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1989. She pursued various creative fields, including floral, interior, and graphic design, before discovering her passion for clay in 2014. Mari’s work has been featured in juried exhibitions nationally and internationally and is included in collections throughout California and beyond.

To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Upon payment of the invoice, winning bidders will receive more information about artwork pick up and shipping.
