Josue Salazar is a fine artist based in Northern California. He was born in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico and immigrated to the U.S. when he was a child where he was raised in the San Fernando Valley. His work translates the calming effects one feels when they are looking at the vastness of the natural world around them. He takes notice of when life isn’t so busy in such fast-paced environment and draws from those moments the content of his work. His most recent work explores the sensation of flight and how placing something that is greater than yourself in front of you can have a healing effect. He is always finding different angels and new ways of creating art that has healing and spiritual implications.
