Fair market value: $10000
Henry Parada was born in Maracaibo in western Venezuela in 1951. During his stay in Venezuela, he could not devote himself completely to art due to economic factors. However, he always got the time to keep his passion for painting alive. He won some awards in painting and photography before emigrating to the United States in 2002 due to political reasons. That change influenced his life in a decisive way. At first, he began working in his profession, then, since 2005, he has devoted himself to painting 100% of his time. Since then, he has dedicated himself to educating and experimenting with different materials to create a meticulous, detail-oriented work, obsessed with the geometry that creates illusion of movement depending on the viewer's point of view.
