Information provided by the Artist: Clay Vorhes is a painter whose work invites viewers into a world where beauty meets structure and delight meets discipline in sumptuous oil paintings where texture and form are heightened to near sculptural intensity. For more than twenty-five years, Vorhes has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions at Skidmore Contemporary Art (Palm Springs) Gerald Peters Contemporary (Santa Fe) and the Elliot Fouts Gallery (Sacramento). Notable shows include the Manetti Shrem Museum of Art, the Laguna Art Museum, the Morris Graves Museum of Art, and innumerable art fairs.

To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Upon payment of the invoice, winning bidders will receive more information about artwork pick up and shipping.
