Information provided by the Artist: Based in Lafayette, Anne Rabe studied art at University of California, Santa Cruz, and the Academy of Art in San Francisco. She embarked on a career in advertising and later founded a printing business with her husband. Utilizing many creative outlets over the years, she has always taken photos to record events, travels , and people in her life. Using an iPhone and multiple applications, her method is truly mobile. She finds creative inspiration everywhere and loves the spontaneity of being able to use her phone to interpret her vision. Rabe’s work was featured in two recently published Jen Tough Gallery art books, “Fun Size” and “Wild Lands,” as well as “Contemporary Artist” magazine. She has exhibited in over 40 juried in-person and online shows including in New York, Santa Fe, Dallas, and Miami. California exhibits include O’Hanlon Center for the Arts, Triton Museum, Abrams Claghorn Gallery, Gray Loft Gallery and Arts Benicia.

To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Sunday, June 9 and Monday, June 10. A weblink to reserve your pick-up time will be sent to you upon payment of your invoice. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Email artauction@crockerart.org for more information.
